01A letter from our founder

From the Director

Mr. R. Chandra Reddy, Founder & Director, Ravindranath Tagore Education Society

When we laid the foundation of the Ravindranath Tagore Education Society in 1988, we did not begin with grand buildings or borrowed blueprints. We began with a question — what kind of school would we want for our own children? The answer was simple, and it has guided us every day since: a school that loves before it teaches, that finds joy in the small wonders of childhood, and that prepares its students not only to succeed in the world, but to serve it.

We began our journey in Chandrapur, and for two decades we watched our first generation of students walk through our gates as little ones and walk out as confident young men and women. In 2009, encouraged by the trust of those families and the quiet need we saw in the region beyond, we opened our second campus in Gadchiroli — because we believed, and still believe, that no child's future should be limited by how far they live from a city.

Today, across both our campuses, that early vision has carried forward in ways more beautiful than we dared imagine. Our students have gone on to become doctors, engineers, officers, teachers, entrepreneurs, and, most importantly, good human beings. Each of them carries a piece of this institution with them, and each of them carries us forward.

The world our students are stepping into is faster, more demanding, and more uncertain than the one we knew. That is precisely why our commitment has only deepened. Through our CBSE affiliation, our modern classrooms, and our continued investment in qualified teachers and thoughtful learning, we are determined to give every child here the tools, the confidence, and the values to stand tall anywhere in the country — and the rootedness to never forget where they came from.

To the parents who have placed their trust in us across generations: thank you. You have not just enrolled your children in a school; you have made us part of your family, and we do not take that lightly. To those considering Vidya Vihar for the first time: I invite you to visit us, walk through our campuses, and meet our teachers. You will see, very quickly, that the three words on our crest are not a slogan. They are a promise.

Love, Joy and Service — yesterday, today, and for every child still to come.

Mr. R. Chandra Reddy

With warmth and gratitude,
